Dua upon entering Haram Territory

While entering into haram (sanctified) area, no specific supplication has been reported based on sound tradition. However, the noted companion of the Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu Alaihi wasallam Hadhrat Abdullah bin Umar RadhiAllahu Anhu used to recite this supplication:

Translation: ‘None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things omnipotent. (Musnad Ahmad)
