Dua before entering into a Masjid
When a person desires to enter a masjid, he should invoke Allah’s blessing on the Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam, followed by reciting this supplication:
“Allahummaftah li abwaba rahmateka”
Translation: “O Allah! Open the doors for me of your Blessings”
Or recite this Dua (supplication):
Aauzu billahil Azeem, wa be’wajhehil Kareem, wa sultanehil qadeem, minash shaitanir rajeem
Translation: “I seek refuge in Almighty Allah, By His Noble Face, By His Primordial Power, from Satan the outcast”.
When Satan hears a person reciting this Dua (Supplication), he says “this person has now become safe from me for the whole day”. (Abu Dawood).
