Dua at the time of Iftar

  1. Abdullah bin Umar Radhi’Alahu Anhuma narrated that Allah’s Messenger SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam used to recite this supplication at the time of breaking his fast

«ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ، وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ»

Zahabaz Zama’u wabtallatil urooqo wa sabatal ajro In Sha Allah.

Translation: “The thirst has gone and the veins are quenched, and reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.” (Abu Dawood)

  1. Allahumma innee as-aloka birahmatekal-latee wase’at kulla shai’inn, an taghfera lee.

«اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الَّتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي»  (أبو داوود، صحيح الجامع 4/209)

Translation: O Allah, I ask You by Your mercy which envelopes all things, that You forgive me. (Abu Dawood, Sahih Al-Jame 209/4)
