Dua after completing Ablution (Wadhu)

Before starting Wudhu (ablution), one should say Bismillah (Tirmizi)

After completion of ablution in a sound and perfect manner, one should recite:

Translation: I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, Who has no partner; and I bear witness that Mohammad SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam is His slave and His messenger.

One who recites this Dua (supplication), all the eight doors of paradise will be opened for him/her, allowing him/her to enter the paradise through whichever gates he/she desires.

Thereafter one should recite this Dua (supplication).

Allahumaj’alni minat tawwabeena waj’alni menal mutatahhereen.

Translation: Oh Allah, make me among those who turned to You in repentance, and make me among those who are purified. (Tirmizi)

Or recite this Dua (Supplication):

Sub’hanaka Allahumma wa be’hamdeka, Ash’hado Anla ilaha illa Anta, As’taghferuka wa atubo ilaik.

Translation: Glory is to You, Oh Allah, and praise; I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You.  I seek your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
